Question:

Are the legal?

Answer:

Yes. Made to the current UK standard (BS AU 145e).

Solid black characters, correct font, correct spacing, fully reflective backing. No tinting, no shading, no creatively bent spacing that quietly fails an MOT.

If we print it, it's compliant.
Not a marketing line. Just true.

Question:

Will it look tacky?

Answer:

Only if someone gets carried away…

Thick borders, tinted plates, illegal spacing. That's when it goes wrong. We don't touch any of that.

We don't touch any of that.

Ours just look like very good plates.

Question:

Will they last?

Answer:

Yes. Still looking good years from now

Yes. Properly bonded, UV stable, car-wash safe, built for British winters. They won't peel, lift, or let you down.

If something goes wrong in transit, we'll replace them the next day. No faff.

Plate finishes FAQs

Yes, when done properly. Some suppliers cut corners on 4D plates that don't meet the British Standard. Ours are fully compliant with BS AU 145e. If we send it, it passes.

3D uses raised gel letters, subtle depth, smooth finish. 4D uses laser-cut acrylic letters, sharper edges, more defined shadow. Use the visualiser above to see both before you decide.

Standard UK sizing fits the vast majority of cars. If you have a motorbike or need a non-standard size, select it at checkout. We print to the correct dimensions for your vehicle type.

We'll replace them next day, free of charge. No questions, no faff. Just let us know.

No. With the adhesive fixing kit, you peel, stick and press. No drilling required. We don't pre-drill holes so alignment stays clean, you position them exactly where you want.

It's a legal requirement for all registered number plate suppliers. We need to verify that the registration belongs to you before we can print. It's quick, just upload securely at checkout.

Once your DVLA transfer is complete and your documents are confirmed. We deliberately wait until this point, so your plates arrive exactly when you're ready to fit them, not sitting in a box beforehand.

Yes, get in touch and we can add them to your order as long as your transfer hasn't completed yet.

No. Tinted and two-tone styles were restricted. Solid black raised letters are fully legal, ours included.

Not for compliant plates. Police care about spacing and tint, not raised letters.

No. They care about the registration change, not the finish.

Only if your registration legally allows it. If it doesn't, we won't, and we'll say so upfront.

Not ours. Properly bonded and made to last.

Yes, within legal limits. We only offer compliant options. Nothing to second-guess.
